Description

An intensive study of formal accounting concepts, procedures and practices. Learn the environment of accounting, preparation of financial statements using the double-entry accounting method, accounting techniques for a merchandising firm, control of cash, short-term financing, inventory cost control systems and accounting for long-lived assets. Pre-requisite: BUS112 or BUS117 or instructor permission. Two lecture; two lab.
