Description

Develop advanced knowledge and skills for recognition of and appropriate management of illness and injury in the pre-hospital setting as described in course objectives. Successful completion of this second semester provides the opportunity to test for certification by the National Registry of EMTs and the Arizona Department of Health Services. Prerequisites: EMT 244; current Arizona State Certified EMT; current Healthcare Provider CPR, negative TB skin test within last 6 months, proof of MMR and Hep B immunization or signed waiver. 16 lecture; 10 lab.
