EMERGENCY MEDICAL TECHNCN BASIC (EMT131 (UG24))

Students learn skills to recognize and properly treat illness and injury in the pre-hospital setting. Successful completion of the course provides eligibility to take the certification exam through the National Registry of EMTs and apply to the Arizona Department of Health Services certification as an EMT basic. Prerequisite: Must be 18 years of age; Current healthcare provider CPR certification; Satisfactory placement; EMT 130 or documented proof of prior experience or successful completion of equivalent class.
