Prepares students to work as Medical Scribes. Students will practice real-time clinical documentation and workflow efficiencies by collecting information gathered at a simulated point-of-care encounter with a patient and a provider and will input data to create and maintain comprehensive and accurate electronic health records. Prerequisites: keyboarding skill of at least 25 wpm; BUS 183 or instructor approval. Three lecture.
