Description

Introduction to moral philosophy and problems of practical ethics; analysis of philosophical problems in ethics and political philosophy, e.g., virtue and integrity, rights vs. social utility, nature of law and state. Reading and critical discussion from sources representative of moral philosophers of both the classical and contemporary periods. Prerequisite: Satisfactory placement. Three lecture.
